Summary
I helped build Formalize's new design system from the ground up. I started by designing the product flows and user interfaces to develop a scalable and flexible system. My goal was to ensure consistency, efficiency, and ease of use and maintenance as the product evolved.
My role
My role involved setting up the core structure of our design system. This meant I was in charge of the design system's architecture, laying down its fundamental building blocks. I also helpt creating the component library and wrote the documentation and guidelines to ensure everyone used them correctly and consistently.
UX Optimization & Problem Solving
I actively contributed to UX improvements through flow simplification, better hierarchy, and iterative feedback. My suggestions led to clearer user paths and improved platform usability without increasing complexity.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Working in an agile environment, I collaborated with managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and alignment. I owned smaller product challenges autonomously and delivered results that unblocked senior designers and accelerated delivery.
